Hello, my name is Dave Gentry. I have been in Alaska since 1988; and have fished out of
many different harbors around the state. Seward, however, is where I have always had the
best luck, that is why we started our charter business there. As my children grew up they
were around fishing for most of their lives and also became involved in the charter business.
Sara, my daughter, has fished many different places in Alaska. However, she loved the
glaciers, whales, and sea birds, but also loves the fast action of the fishing in and around
Seward. Sara is in college in the winter, helping with the booking and the scheduling. In the
summer she occasionally will deckhand for Will and I.
Will has worked as a deckhand for a few years; he worked for very knowledgeable and
experienced companies before getting his captains license. He has worked as a captain for
the last two years for another very reputable company, and is now the primary captain for
Glacier Fishing
Charters.
Our new boat is a 37 foot Catamaran which is more stable on the ocean. The sleeping
berths, galley, and head make it very comfortable for family outings and overnight trips. Here
are a few pictures of our boat
